Supporting safety and accessibility at Glen Eden Primary School.
This project involved the conversion of an existing bathroom facility into a dedicated special needs bathroom, designed to better support children requiring enhanced care and supervision. As part of this upgrade, Tiger Security was engaged to deliver a reliable emergency notification solution tailored to the environment.
Our scope included the installation of an emergency alert system within the bathroom integrated with the school’s existing security system, enabling immediate notification in the event of an incident. When activated, the system triggers a highly visible strobe light located in the school’s reception area, ensuring staff are quickly alerted and can respond without delay.
In sensitive spaces such as these, rapid response capability is critical. The solution was designed to be simple, effective, and highly visible—providing peace of mind for staff and an added layer of protection for vulnerable students.
