By combining a Double Modulated beam with a Tuning Amplifier and Phase Locked Loop (PLL) system, TAKEX Photoelectric Beam Sensors offer complete perimeter protection like no other.
The patented use of these 3 technologies ensure unrivalled tolerance against direct and reflected sunlight, vehicle headlights and other light sources. TAKEX Photoelectric Beams come in two formats – Quad and Twin.
Quad Photoelectric Beams are used for long-range perimeter intrusion detection. Twin Photoelectric Beams are designed to protect windows, doors, fence lines and driveways.
Quad Photoelectric Beams
The PB-IN-HF series is the flagship of the TAKEX range of infrared Photoelectric Beams . By synchronizing 16 beam paths between Transmitter and Receiver, the PB-IN-HF series ensure maximum stability in Perimeter Protection, covering external distances up to 200m.
Unique Double Modulated beams are combined with a specially designed external light compensation circuit to provide market leading tolerance against direct and reflected sunlight and vehicle headlights. Coupled with channel separation and environmental (anti-fog) circuitry, the PB-IN-HF series has earned worldwide recognition as the standard TAKEX’s rivals aspire to.
Twin Photoelectric Beams
Cost effective doesn’t need to mean compromise. Even the simplest beams from TAKEX feature patented Double Modulation technology, ensuring unsurpassed immunity to direct and reflected sunlight and vehicle headlights. To cover distances up to 100m and the option of stacking (PB-TE Models) Twin Beams provide the ideal solution where cost is a major concern.

- Anti-Crawl Photoelectric Beams: Takex Anti-Crawl beams are designed to be used in the highest security applications, such as Prisons, Military Compounds, Nuclear Facilities, or any other high risk sites where protection is paramount. These beams are designed to be used in conjunction with the Takex PBIN~HF beams, and offer a solution that will catch the most determined of intruders.
- Battery Operated Photoelectric Beams: Battery operated wireless ready Quad Beams are ideal for rapid deployment, creating temporary or permanent secure perimeter intruder systems up to 100m.
- Low Current Photoelectric Beams: Ultra low-current PXB-100SW is designed to be powered by BA-6SLA solar panel and power units for wireless or remote applications without cabling infrastructure.
- Reflective Photoelectric Beams: Reflector Beams are designed for applications where a beam-break sensor is desirable, but running cable to both ends is impractical.
